Visual artist Dan Gregor (INITI) creates an interactive and dynamic light installations in public spaces. Using exact calculations and architectural plans of buildings he subjects the original architecture to illusionist games and through virtual objects he animates static buildings. As a former founder and half of main creative duo of projection mapping group The Macula (2009-2015 – group break-up explanation) he was involved as a author in such projections of Prague Clocktower, New Museum of Liverpool (2011), Khôra I. or Khôra II. etc. Dan collaborates with various theaters and musical groups. In 2013 for Laterna Magica of National Theatre in Prague creates visual production based on Václav Havel’s collection of experimental poetry Anticodes and then in 2015 with choreographer Věra Ondrašíková the performance GUIDE.
Along with musician Tomáš Dvořák (Floex) he has created an interactive installation Archifon I. for Olomouc animation festival for PAF, its free sequel Archifon II. for Brussels festival Nuit Blanche in 2012 and Archifon III. for festival Ars Electronica 2014 where also interactive installation Netykavka was involved. In 2015 he started collaborating with Norwegian musician Biosphere and together they created a show for planetariums the Biosphere+INITI. Recently, he has been working on the interactive platform INITI Playground, which he developed together with programmer Ondřej Průcha and technician Josef Kortan

Dan Gregor jako vizuální tvůrce vytváří interaktivní a dynamické světelné instalace ve veřejném prostoru. Pomocí exaktních výpočtů a architektonických plánů staveb podrobuje původní architekturu iluzionistické hře a prostřednictvím virtuálních objektů rozanimovává statické budovy. Jako zakladatel a polovina z kreativního dua mappingové skupiny The Macula (2009-2015 – zpráva o rozpadu skupiny) se autorsky podepsal pod mappingovými projekcemi např. na Staroměstskou radnici v Praze (2010), New Museum v Liverpoolu (2011), Khôra I. nebo Khôra II. atd. Spolupracuje s různými divadelními spolky a hudebními uskupeními. V roce 2013 vytvořil pro Laternu Magiku Národního Divadla v Praze představení na motivy experimentální poezie Václava Havla Antikódy a následně pak roce 2015 s choreografkou Věrou Ondrašíjovou představení GUIDE.
Spolu s hudebníkem Tomášem Dvořákem (FLOEX) vytvořil interaktivní instalaci Archifon I. pro olomoucký festival animované tvorby PAF, její volné pokračování Archifon II. pro bruselský festival Nuit Blanche 2012 a Archifon III. pro festival Ars Electronica 2014, kde byla presentována i interaktivní instalace Netykavka. V roce 2015 započal spolupráci s norským muzikantem Biosphere a spolu pak vytvořili koncertní vystoupení “Biosphere&Initi at the Planetarium” V poslední době se věnuje zejména interaktivní platformě INITI Playground, kterou vyvinul společně s programátorem Ondřejem Průchou a technikem Josefem Kortanem.
